In line with our goal, we are inviting new entrepreneurs in the bio-energy and fuel sector, who should move ahead by investing in the bio-energy and fuel sector and help in making the country self-sufficient in the energy and fuel sector. For this, a detailed action plan has been prepared by our group
Looking at the current scenario, the demand for clean fuel remains high globally. which is continuously increasing. India imports 80 percent of its total fuel demand from abroad. Due to the imported part, a lot of the country's money goes abroad. If the total fuel demand is shifted to clean fuel and the biofuel sector is promoted, then this import can be curbed, And it can also help in improving the environment. Keeping all these facts in mind- The Government of India has notified the National Policy on Biofuels, 2018 (NPB) which aims to increase the use of biofuels in the energy and transportation sectors. The National Bio Policy envisages adopting a multi-pronged approach to promote and encourage the use of biofuels including bio-CNG (CBG). Biogas is produced from waste and bio-mass sources (such as agricultural residues, cattle dung, sugarcane press mud, municipal solid waste and sewerage treatment plant waste and Napier grass) through the process of anaerobic decomposition. Bio-CNG is the pure form of bio-gas.
Bio-CNG has similar calorific value and other properties to compressed natural gas (CNG), so it can be used as a green renewable automotive fuel. Given the abundant availability of various wastes and biomass in the country, it can replace CNG in the automotive, industrial and commercial sectors, And which will lead to establishment of industrial units in rural areas of the country, These industrial units will complement rural employment, and will also promote the use of affordable and clean fuel. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has already permitted the use of bio-CNG as an alternative composition of CNG for motor vehicles. Existing CNG kits in motor vehicles and auto-rickshaws, three-wheelers support BioCNG and do not require any additional expense.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, in line with the National Bio-Policy-2018, launched SATAT scheme (Sustainable Alternative towards Affordable Transportation) in the country from 1 October 2018 to provide affordable transportation. An ecosystem has been established to promote the production and utilization of Bio-CNG from various waste and biomass sources. Under this scheme, oil and gas marketing companies are moving forward on the basis of long-term agreements. Oil and Gas Marketing Companies invite expression of interest from entrepreneurs for purchase of Bio-CNG.
Various proponents have also been presented for the development of this sector. Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has issued policy and guidelines for inclusion of bio-gas along with natural gas in CGD (city gas distribution) network. During this year's budget speech, it was announced that for all the organization working in the sector of Marketing of natural and biogas 5% percent biogas mandate would be implemented. Further, appropriate financial assistance will be provided for collection of biomass and distribution of bio-manure. According to information provided by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, there is a plan to set up 5,000 CBG plants in a phased manner across India, These plants are expected to produce 15 million tonnes of bio-CNG per year. Which is about 40 percent of the current CNG consumption of 44 million tonnes per year in the country.

After the implementation of National Biofuel Policy-2018, the market of CNG/Bio-CNG is growing rapidly in our country, Since the implementation of BS 6 emission norms from April 2020, oil and gas marketing companies have been promoting the use of biofuel, and automobile companies have started selling CNG/Bio-CNG based vehicles. Due to which its demand will keep increasing in the coming years.
The standard operating procedure to proceed as per the detailed action plan prepared by our group is as follows.
Standard Operating Procedure
1. First of all, for the establishment of Bio CNG project, you can contact through website, other social media platforms or through telephone and e-mail, after contacting, our representatives will give you project related information over telephone.
2. . After the telephone conversation, it is mandatory to register for detailed information related to the project, through online medium or to meet with the higher officials in person.
3. The registration amount, which is fixed at Rs 25000/- including GST, will have to be deposited in the company's account number 088305001908 IFSC Code ICICI0004330 Branch Reti Stand Udaipur Bank ICICI.
4. Registration amount will not be refundable after deposit. After deposit of registration amount, bill will be sent by the company and registration will be done.
5. After registration, time will be fixed for personal meeting. Separate request of the Entrepreneur for scheduling will not be considered.
6. The Entrepreneur will be allowed to bring one other representative with him to the scheduled meeting.
7. During the personal meeting, the entire action plan will be discussed in detail with the Entrepreneur, in which the policies of the Center and the State, aspects of the scheme will be explained, copies of documents related to the scheme and service will be made available.
8. After the personal meeting, the process of signing the agreement will be started, for which a written consent will be given by the Entrepreneur.
9. The process of signing the agreement will be started after the Entrepreneur gives written consent, for which the Entrepreneur will have to deposit the first installment of the consultancy fee. The agreement will be signed after the first installment of consultancy fee is deposited.
10. After signing the agreement, the registration amount will be adjusted towards consultancy fee.
11. After reading the Standard Operating Procedure, read and understand the terms and conditions thoroughly and proceed for the registration process.
